Okay I am 39 wks and 6 days pregnant and I think it's finally comming to an end. My back has been having horrible sharp pains. I think I might be having back labor but I don't know. The baby hasn't really been too active today, but I've had pains throughout the whole day. This is my second child and you'd think you know, but I'm not sure. I haven't quite been myself today. If I sit down it hurts too. Could this child finally be ready to come?

I already know all the details, I haven't even called my Doc yet cause I'm not 100% sure. I just wish this is what it is. I want to have this child already!

I had a harder time tellling what was happening with my second more than my first! As a rule always just keep an eye on the contractions...the doctors arent interested in admitting you until your contractions are steadily 5 minutes apart. It sounds like it is all about to happen good luck!

It sounds like the start of labor to me. But the girl above was right too, they won't admit you until your contractions are at least 5 minutes apart or your water breaks. I would just relax and walk around the house some drink lots of water and time your contractions..
I'm jealous I wish I was in labor (6 more weeks for me!)

It sounds like you are in labor hopefully you are I wish I was I'm 36 weeks and 3 days I am so so so miserable I hope you have an easy labor and delivery. good luck.

I was once forty weeks four days and the health care provider desired to urge me. I requested if we might wait till forty one weeks and he or she agreed best bcuz the start middle had restricted rooms. I went into exertions at two am subsequent morning. Got to the health center at 7am and wasn't checked till 8am given that it was once difference if shift and my first child. When they checked me I was once already 8cm dilated. No time for epi! Lol I have start 1hr later, at nine:08am and not using a soreness meds. (essentially the most painful factor I have ever skilled) So I was once forty weeks five days and my exertions and supply was once approx 7 hrs.

Could be. My suggestion would be to go do something active. Go walking, bowling, dancing, something to get you going. You will either go in to labor or get a good nights sleep tonight. Good luck and congrats!

You need to go to the hospital and get checked not on the net asking people who are not medical care providers.

yes its back labor... call your OB/GYN and go to the hospital....CONGRATS!!!!
