How do I create a shortcut for google.com on my desktop so that all I have to do is double click on the shortcut and it will open google?

You can right click the address, say copy, and then right click on the desktop, select "New" and say shortcut.
Then, when you type what the shortcut is for/to, paste the address of google in there.
You might have to right click the shortcut icon and go to 'properties' to add the address.

goto the site and then right click on the blank area of site and then click on the creat shortcut

go to google.com, go up to favorites, add as favorites. Once you do that, scroll down on your favorites list, right click on the google favorite, go to "send to" and choose desktop. I hope this helps.

YOU open the internet, then click tools, and press internet options. THere on the first box, type www.google.com

right click this link : www.google.com , and then select save target as, and save is on the desktop

or just make google your homepage

set your internet homepage as google, and then whenver you open the internet it will come up as google
