Any time after 16 weeks. But, the BEST time is after 20 weeks, because the baby is more developed and has less of a chance of being mistaken for the wrong gender.

I found out the gender of my baby at 10 weeks pregnant! I took the Gender Mentor test. They sent me a kit, I gave a tiny sample of blood, sent it back and found out I was having a boy within 24 hours. The results were confirmed by a sonogram in december and my son was born March 10, 2006. I was very pleased because all my friends and family said I wasted my money and it was probably a hoax. I did alot of research prior to purchasing the kit, and by chance, I had seen a special on Dateline or one of those programs. Everything looked positive so I went for it. I hate surprises..so it was perfect for me.

Your doctor will order your sonogram during 16-22 weeks of your pregnancy...keep on mind the point of the sonogram is to make sure the baby is growing properly BUT if the technician can see any of the genatalia they will tell you. Dont be dissapointed it they cant tell...many times the position of the baby makes it very hard.

You usually find out between 18-20 weeks what the sex of the baby is...Thats the Fun part!!!
