In my opinion, this whole damn world has gone mad. Everyday people find new ways of killing each other and blowing themselves up. The whole world is crazy. How else do you explain the current state of affairs in the world today? Everyone has completly lost it, I don't think it's just me.

Ok, where's the question? That sh*t pisses off everyone. What are you leaving out? Why are you being called crazy? Are you out playing vigilante?

No, it's not just you. Pretty much everyone thinks that way. (Kinda makes you wonder if anyone out there is sane.) If you don't believe me, listen to your grandparents talk about "the good old days" when crime rates weren't so high, teenagers didn't get knocked up, and the world was a simpler place. Of course, there were also downsides the the era: common-place hate crimes, misogyny, bigotry, etc.

Some of the view that the world has gone mad is because nothing stays the way we're used to. It's normal to react strongly to change that makes you uncomfortable. However, some of it is because the world really has become a more volatile place. It hasn't happened overnight, though. This has been a steady, slippery decline since the dawn of time... since man first made fire. From there we made weapons, and have simply evolved them to be able to kill someone across the world with the push of a button.

Have you gone crazy? No. Has the world gone crazy? Yes. Should it be such a big surprise? No.

Well there is alot of chaos in the world today and the only word that comes to mind is, crazy! But there is a good kind of crazy, that is fun! Focus on that! Say your prayers and care about the immediate things in your life, and it will feel a little better. The simple things you do close by will reach beyond what you can see.

The world hasn't gone mad. In fact I would argue the opposite is true.
In the old days the village idiot was normal - people would lapse into serious mental problems, rape, theft, killing was relativly normal.
Now in cities of millions of people there are a handful of people that have serious problems. Of course with the speed of mass media, internet and TV we millions see all about it. But those people are the exception!

I agree with you, but I always try to remember that the world has and will always be that way. It's kind of comforting to study history and see all the civilizations that were constantly at war. Violence has been a common thread among humans all through the ages and amazingly we are still here. All we can do is try and keep our own small immediate world has sane as possible. Remember to love your friends and family, laugh as much as possible and don't take life to seriously.

Do you know my Grandfather used to say that during the Second World War.
In my opinion, and that's all it is,we all have a certain amount of insanity. That's what makes us Human.
We do seem to be hell bent on killing each other, don't we.I don't think we've gone mad,we've always been this way.The trick is for each one of us to say,"I will not harm a person today."

I don't want to sound absolutely crazy, but I know I'm going to. I believe we are on the brink of the Rapture and all this crap in the middle east? .... Never mind, not going any further. Just read the Book of Revelations in the bible...oh, and talk to someone about it. OR better yet. Read the "Left Behind Series" Very interesting line of books.
