I am rh negative and this is my second pregnancy. I was just wondering if they do the same procedure this time as they did last time. I had a shot during my first pregnancy then again after I had my child. I would like to know what month they will do this again or is it different the second time around?

Yes, they do the same procedure this time around. I am also rh neg. and preg w/ my 2nd child. At 28 wks they gave me a rhogam shot. They said I would need another shot after I have the baby also, just like before.

Some doctors do it differently...chances are, if it is the same doctor, he will do it the same. I am RH Negative as well, and my son is A Positive. They gave me the shot AFTER I had him, which will cover me til AFTER I have my next baby, which will be when I get the next one.
