Salary depends on many factors such as the immediate market, clientele and experience. Also whether the company is established or a lower known mom and pop place. Typically pay is commission based off of the space rented...but how much of a percentage, that can vary.

Never heard about agents doing lease contracts getting hourly payment, much less any salary. Unless you mean being hired by a developper or something, but even those usually pay their exclusive agents a commission for each sale.

If that's the case then an agent gets 10% for the total amount of the lease.

Let say you lease a home or commercial property for 2 years, and it's $1000/month. Your comission would be $2400.

It depends on the geographical area. I live in a smaller capital city and made around 12.00 mid-career. I have a co-worker that works at a property in a smaller town 100 miles away and makes 9.00.

It all depends on how much the people are willing to pay... I've heard of a nationally known company that is based out of Fort Worth, Capstone Management try to get a job there.

Good luck!
