A light breakfast, cereal is good - some kind of pasta or other high carb meal for lunch. A light snack about 1-1/2 to 2 hours before the game - power bars are good. The number one thing is hydration. Drink lots of water or Gatorade. It is very important, especially during the early months of football when the wether is still warm to keep your electrolytes up and stay hydrated. You don't want to have to put too much water down during the game either, you can get bloated and cramp. After the game, I always found that salt would help the late night cramping. Good Luck.

First, the night before a game I would eat a big pasta dinner and in the morning I would eat a pancake, egg and bacon or sausage breakfast. If it is a day game probably eat a little snack between breakfast and game, maybe a protein shake or a banana and some trail mix and of course a lot of fluids. If it's a night game eat a good lunch of maybe some chicken and rice or a steak sandwich and then eat a snack before game. Sounds like a lot of food but your body will need that fuel come the 4th quarter. Some people can't eat the day of game because of nerves but definitely try and eat. Good Luck!

The best thing to do is eat plenty of starches the night before or for an early lunch the day of the game. The starches will turn into stored energy. The best is Speghetti.

Protein will give you light long lasting energy I'd have some meat and a protein shake and a power bar or two will give you carbs for a high amount of energy and a little more protein

If you're playing center, you should eat a lot of protien. I think several bean burritos from taco bell should work. This will make the quarterback your best friend.
