Usually for myself. I actually don't care how I look in front of my boyfriend. I wear makeup because it is an ego boost to know that I am hot, plus I think it is fun to put on. I don't think I wear it for guys because I don't think most of them even notice; it is mostly for myself.

I wear it for myself. It makes me feel different. Sometimes I feel daring or pretty. The only way I can rally explain it so you would understand it is that it makes me feel the same way you would feel behind the wheel of new car or on a motorcycle.
What's great is finding a guy who loves you with or without it on. Just think you can have the girl next door on day and then she puts on makeup and becomes the vixen you only dream about.

I wear it for both, but nobody really tells I have it on, because I don't go all-out with unnatural colors. I just wear it to enhance what I already have. Ppl get all surprised when I tell them I wear makeup. If you do it right, the guys can fall for it and think u have naturally perfect skin.

Well, I guess we wear it to give ourselves a bit more security. It's like, if you look good, you feel better about yourself. And then it's easier for us to be around guys. If you're tired of girls wearing makeup or feeling insecure, then try complimenting your friends that are girls once in a while. Not in a weird way, but just like, "you look really great today" or "cool shoes" or something... :)

I don't wear makeup all the time. I mean, I'll go out without it on, but I don't really like to. I wear it for me. I wear it to feel more pretty about myself. If there were no guys here, I would still wear it!

Sometimes for all people, not just for us/guys. A lot of women wear make-up as a coverup for bad skin, acne, facial flaws, etc.
It highlights the good features and plays down the "bad". We think we look better in it, regardless of the boys.
It just depends on the amount of makeup as well. Little = for us, just for a night out w/ the girls. Lots = probably for the boys.

We just need to realize that we are all beautiful in our own way, and we don't need to cover ourselves with make up for everyone to see it. A lot of girls just need to learn to accenuate their beautiful features with the make up, not cover up their faces with it. To help these ladies out- the guys they're trying to impress should, every once in a while, tell them how beautiful they are, without the make up. Let them know you think they're naturally attractive- confidence will build, and little confidence can go a long way.

sometimes we feel better with it!! you might think we arent wearing makeup while we are and were going for the natural look! I do it for the guys cause i dont wear makeup for my friends!

Lol...well honey I gotta say for myself. See, when we're young enough to go without it and look fresh and beautiful, most times women don't appreciate their natural beauty. When we get a little older we don't look as fresh anymore, so we wear it to look like we're not expired yet!

If I do happen to put any on, it is usually to make myself look awake in the morning and not like I just rolled out of bed.
