I can understand if they are a plumber or a doctor. What about everyone else?

Are they afraid of SARS or something? Maybe they wear disposable gloves too when they do their business. I've seen people using keys to press the lift buttons. This RIDICULOUS.

after shaking peoples hands (you don't know where they have been). handling money, food, touching light switches and door handles that other have touched (they may not have washed their hands after sneezing, going to the bathroom, touching them selves etc) germs spread. even touching your hair and face (like if you have really bad acne, lice, or a cut on your skin and you touch it, like picking a scab, then you touch a door handle) .. I would rather keep the cold and flu and any other nasty spreadable germs to a minimal near my genitals. I ALWAYS wash my hands before and after using the bathroom because other people may not, and I come in contact with nasty germs every day at my work and in my classes. Some people are just nasty..

how would you feel if the person that touched the door handle before you touched it just jacked off and has an STD and warts and its just a nasty gross guy and he also sneezed in his hands then picked his nose, and he hasn't washed his hands sense last week. Then you touched the handle and then went potty and your hand touched your genital area.. and you also have your baby with you and your baby grabbed your hand after all this and put it in his/her mouth, cause thats what all babies do. BAM, bad germs spreading .. NASTY.

now your baby is sick and you both have hepatitis and the stomach flu because you're suborn.

wash your hands. please.

Huh. I wasn't aware that people did this.

Well, actually, sometimes if I've been doing something that makes my hands all dirty, then I'll wash my hands before I go to the bathroom, because I don't want all that dirt near my nether regions when I wipe. However, in such a situation, I always wash my hands afterwards, as well.

I don't see anything wrong with washing your hands before using the bathroom, as long as you wash your hands afterwards. Personally, when I use a tampon, I would want to ensure that my hands are clean.

Well, I am a cook and because I often handle raw foods or stuff like jalapeno peppers I am always very careful to wash my hands before and after I use the toilet so as to protect me and to protect the people who depend on me to use proper food handling techniques.
