this is for people who knows how to use the sound recorder. If you wanna help, go to start, which is at the bottom left, go to all program, accessories, entertainment then sound recorder. I'm trying to record something, but it keeps stopping every 60 sec, so then the record will miss a part. Do you know how to make it longer??

The only way I know of is to hit the record button again right after the 60 seconds is over, and then you have 60 more seconds. You can keep doing this for as long as you want. But if you want a better sound recorder, try "Audio Recorder for Free."

Try using Audiograbber. A very nice freeware thing which will do all Sound Recorder does and more (like recording streaming audio).

If you want to make MP3s, download the Lame codec as well.
