Has your husband ever given you a gift that was blatantly meant to be for him?

Or guys? Have you? I think I can say "guilty as charged"!

My son just got an "Airhog" Remote Control plane for his birthday. Of course he's too young for it. Whom did I find playing with it in the yard on Sunday morning before breakfast?? Hmm.....

My hubby has always been an A+++ gift giver... day spa packages, concert & ballet tickets, shopping sprees, surprise get-away vacations...

However, he did once give me a bottle of Absinthe as a gift... which, in itself, isn't too bad of a gift... especially since he didn't have to give me anything. A friend of his had gone to Italy for work, and my hubby asked his friend to pick up a bottle for me (as a surprise). I thought it was a fun gift, until a couple weeks later when I suggested we drink it for my birthday.
Turns out he had already drank the entire bottle by himself!!!

My husband is very careful to get me what I want. I think he is tempted to buy me hunting equipment and golf clubs

But ladies do not be so hard on the guys. If he buys you golf clubs or a deer rifle it may mean that he wants to spend more time with you and he is giving you part of himself

I think everyone (male and female) has at one point. You eventually run out of unique ideas or you see something cool and fugire that since the other person is so closeto you, he / she would like it too. It may not be deliberate, but I'd say we all do it.

Haha yes. My step-dad had been raving about new kitchen supplies for months and months before Christmas. And what did my mother get? Tons and Tons and Tons of kitchen supplies he bought for himself but gave them to her because he didn't want to be the one cooking.

We all laughed.

I would never give my woman a wrench. But I do go for the usefull gift sometimes.
Sometimes I need to use my wrench to install it.

OH!! That explains the fishing pole and tackle box I got for Christmas! It also explains why he buys my hunting clothes that are too big, but just happen to fit him.

Not a big secret when you give her a drill or tickets to something you want to see and she hates. No mine hasn't but I know some who have.
