For those who don't know a dynasty league is like a keeper league but you keep every player and the draft consists of only rookies and free agents.

Anyway I've been offered Jake Delhomme and Jeremy Stevens for Steve Smith. Here's what my team looks like...

QB: Brett Favre, Mark Brunell
RB: Larry Johnson, Ronnie Brown, JJ Arrington
WR: Steve Smith, Matt Jones, Donald Driver
TE: Marcus Pollard, Steve Heiden
K: Neil Rackers
DEF: Carolina, KC

it definitely fills 2 need but am I giving up too much?

You definately need to get younger at QB -- one of those guys is gone after 2006, and the other will surely be gone by the end of 2007. Delhomme offers security at one of the major positions.

Your TEs are lacking as well. Pollard is a decent #1 in a dynasty league, but you also get better AND younger by picking up Stevens.

However, you might wanna think of it this way:
You take quite a hit at WR by losing Smith (Jones might have a great year this year, but expect more in 07) and Driver is only as good as Favre (gone after 06). But whatever numbers Smith was gunna get, you're gunna get from Delhomme.

You may want to consider possibly adding in one of your QBs to the deal (or in a separate deal with another team) and pickup a solid WR to ease the blow from losing Smith.

If you can do that, I'd say take the deal.

I wouldn't do it even though I like Delhomme. Your other WR aren't great, and you're not likely to fill that spot in the draft this year.

You can get another year out of your ancient QB -but make sure to try to grab Leinart or Young.

There's a ton of rookie TE talent this year which you'll easily be able to draft (Davis, Lewis, Klopfenstein, Pope, Byrd) and put into your lineup right away.

The guy who offered realizes the TE depth this year - and although he has quality depth at QB - he can't play 2, so he sought you out because your QB's suck - but don't panic - your RB duo can make up for your QB situation.

Jake Delhomme is a c0ck sucker.

and to answer your question, NO WAY! Keep Steve Smith. Stevens has butter fingers.

It's a tough call. Your quarterbacks stink, but I don't think Delhomme will add enough value for you to lose Smith. I'd say hang on to him and try to find a better trade.

u do need a new QB but without smith u will need new WRs. Also, Delhomme doesn't add enough to ur team.

I wouldn't let Steve Smith go for those guys.

You don't have enough depth at Wr to to do the deal. I would do that deal if the owner included a good wide reciever in the trade.
