For instance, 1/3 = .333. My calculator won't do that simple function. HELP!

make sure you are closing your parentheses and that you are actually making fractions i wish i could just so you

i don't know if i spelled parentheses right but i mean ( ) that

type in 1/3, but make sure to press the green button on the top left (above HOME and below the blue button), and then press equal

You always have to do that when you want a decimal answer

I have that same calculator...and for how much it costs, it kept giving syntax errors, although that happened with calculations involving negative numbers.

I'll have to try on my calculator and see what happens.
