What are the odds of getting an autograph from a proffesional athelete?

Question

I have an autographed Flag of Jose Calderon from the Toronto Raptors but do you think I could get an other one.I go to about 3 professional games per year:Nba,Nhl and Mlb?

Your best shot in ML baseball is to go to spring training...Same thing for the NFL go to the training camp of your favorite team...The players are great about signing...Just remember that they are people too, 99%+ are really nice, don't let it ruin your day if you run into that rare player in a rotten mood...Maybe he's just having a bad day, it happens to all of us...Tell him to have a good practice, maybe the next day things will be different...

It helps to know their names and a little about them... Something like "great catch yesterday Tony"...In other words act like a fan and not an autograph collector for profit...

Be prepared, have a pen and whatever you want signed ready...

It's tough, but you can if you plan it carefully. Make sure to pay attention to events that are being held. They are usually announced in local papers, or the team website. Sign up for e-mail info. It doesn't have to be a game to get an autograph, but if the player is at a store or something keep your eyes open, and you'll be able to go there and get an autograph. A lot of times if you see players when they are away they will be out at local restaurants and stuff, but you don't want to ruin their meal, etc by asking them.

Its very tough to get autographs at the pro event itself unless you get there very very early. Your best bet is to do your research ( team website) or listen to the sports channel in your area and see when the teams are having their fan fest events. Im sure every team has one every year.
