First, take a deep breath. I don't know many people who've been fired from jobs they actually like. If that's true, congratulations. Most people spend years in sucky jobs and never get up the guts to get a new one. Make sure that all of your upcoming bills are paid and check into health insurance options. Call any and all contacts that you have to see if you can nose out any employment opportunities. I read recently that people who are fired from jobs often find better jobs for more money. It was true of me. If I had stayed working as an assistant for that masogynist movie producer, I would have never been the reporter I am today.
