I think the lyrics in songs encourage kids to travel down the wrong road. I mean, come on, Humps by Black Eyed Peas, Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado, both trashy songs that kids love. My 8yr old son likes these songs and listens to them whenever he gets the chance (which isn't often because if I catch him....)
But I think parents have to be very aware of what their kids are listening to because a lot of it is trash.

Actually I don't. We teens have brains we just decide not to use them sometimes. Music lyrics can't go out and have sex people can. So I say music has nothing to do with it. But hey maybe I'm wrong who knows?

I sincerely believe that an exposure to this stuff is influencing younger children today. Being bombarded by sexual images on a daily basis is going to have a strong influence on a younger mind.

both it's the stupid ones. it's a diease listening and watching something that is out of your reach and then thinking it's cool. making you what to try it too when it isn't cute. it takes more than one voice to make a stand. that's how i truly feel about it.
