I know it's that stuff at the dentist they used for filling....... but like what's it called?

Mercury dissolves silver. It forms an alloy used in fillings called amalgam. The mercury is removed before itis made permanent in your mouth.My dentist said he is much more at risk from mercury poisoning than the patients.

Mercury-silver amalgam. Your dentist probably calls it "silver amalgam" to avoid panicking you.
