I was currently working at a gas station here in town, but then quit cause this boss was a complete ***. They were working employees without breaks or lunch (after 8 1/2 hours). After I quit my fiance went in there one night to get a pop, the machine was out of syrup so he threw the cup away, the manager then calls my house, telling him she doesnt appreciate him doing this and not to do it again..ok where does she get off calling my house, can you do this to customers? Then today we went to get a pop, she tells him you are not allowed to park in front of the pumps, unless you are getting gas, ok half the people in there were parked in front of the pumps, without getting gas...and she doesnt say anything to them? What I am wondering is if this is considered harassment? I already contacted the main branch of this place, and they never called back I think this is unethical, and very rude! While working there I have heard here tell customers off. Who should I call?

This may sound pretty petty, but its very aggravating, I should be able to go into a place of business without any comments, except have a nice day.

Just to let everyone know she is the manager of the place!

Speak with your wallet. Don't shop there anymore. It's not harassment, but it's rude, and there's no reason for you to put up with it.

Yeah that does sound like she is getting on you for quitting or something. She is just a B**** If I were you I would call every day to complain until you get a response back! Can you avoid the place or is it the only gas station in your town? Also next time you are in there and she says something out of line, ask to talk to the manager, unless she is the manager, then you are screwed! well, good luck!

My solution to you would be to avoid that gas station. There are gas stations everywhere, so why keep putting up with your ex boss? There's no need. If you keep going back there time after time, it tells me you have hard skin and can deal with the harassment or you like to stress.

Sounds very petty.......

EDIT: No disrespect intended, but it seems like this situation could be handled by just not shopping there anymore. Hit em' where it hurts--tell all of your family and friends to shop elsewhere.
