Caused by too much moisture with not enough air circulation. IF it is not the hairy type stuff it is not mold but a fungus. With that you need to get a fungicide to spray on it very soon or it will kill it. could try to mix up some water with rubbing alcohol and a drop or two of dish detergent and spray it good. That will help things along to dry it out and kill the fungus but should still get an anti fungal from the store.

Mold and fungus are 2 different things. You say it's been raining a lot, but I've heard that if you water at night, the evaporation rate is much slower which encourages mold growth.

Try putting cold coffee in a spray bottle and misting it lightly over the leaves.

The acid is light enough that it won't hurt your plant, but fungus doesn't like it.

Don't water your plants at night or later in the day. Water only in the morning. Furthermore dilluted soap water sprayed on the plant is good. I think its one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid per gallon.

"Eucalyptus Liquid Soap (found in health food stores)
Add ½ teaspoon to a quart of water and spray for insects"
