I'm assuming you mean flamboyant. People tend to emulate people they admire and want to be associated with. I have a cousin who moved to Georgia about five years ago from California...and she's already aquired a pretty thick southern accent. She fits in with it...it's part of the culture. The same goes with 'gay' gays.

There is alot of gay guys that you would never know it though. It's weird.. Some are flamers and others just seem straight or whatever.
