Some women don't notice when the baby drops (or lightening/engagement) because their baby was pretty low the whole pregnancy. But most will notice pressure or even pain in the pelvic area.

You might have to go to the bathroom more, but then again, you can probably breathe easier because the baby is lower.

It's different with every woman.

I've had two children, I couldn't tell, I was told by my physician when the baby had dropped into the birth canal. Some people think they can actually see that the baby has dropped because your bulging belly is lower than it was. You'll feel pressure from here on out, they baby is probally just laying on your bladder.

I am currently 37 weeks along and I dropped at 34 weeks, My breathing became easier and lots of pressure on my pelvis. You do not feel pressure every min. You can also look at your stomach and notice that your breast are not resting on your stomach like they did before, and as everyone else has mentioned you pee alot more..
GL to you!!!

I'm exactly as far along as u. My baby dropped when I was 30wks along (sooner than the usual) I was driving @ the moment, & it sorta felt like a brick fell from right below my chest, down to my pelvis. It was a lil shocking, I had to stop the car.

You will know when your baby drops. You know how you pee every 10 minutes now? You will be peeing every 5 minutes when the baby drops and you will start to walk funny. It could happen in your sleep or while your cooking dinner but most women know when it happens. Also you can see the physical difference.

your exactly right it feels like pressure, sometimes so bad it feels like the baby could just drop out. Other times you just feel normal. congratulations to you and your soon to be baby.

this is going to sound cliche but it's true ... you'll know when it happens. From the sounds of it you're starting to drop you'll feel the pressure and occasionally discomfort. Good luck and congrats

I had to pee constantly again, and I had a lot of pressure whenever I sat for too long or stood up.
You should see it, too.
If you can fit your first three fingers between your breast bone and belly, you've dropped.
