So assuming you're not serious with this question or that you worded it wrong, I'll give you a little insight into good ole Honest Abe and his Dishonest state. I'm from Illinois, plus I have a degree in History, so I did do my research.

If you go to New Salem, IL you can tour the house that Lincoln grew up in. It's a tiny shack with one room and you couldn't believe someone actually grew up there. Unfortunately he didn't.

That house, and most of the "historic" houses in New Salem were built nearly 12 years after he died. He didn't have a horrible life and his house wasn't a tiny shack. Don't believe everything you hear. Remember, George Washington never actually cut down a cherry tree. People make up stories so that everyone will think more positively about their historic leaders.

Log cabin, yes. Built with his father, no (cute, but old). He was born in a log cabin in Kentucky, then his family moved to Indiana (he may have helped build that one). Later, he moved to Springfield, Illinois.

How in the world could that possibly be true? Think about it. How could he have been born in a cabin that didn't exist? How could he have helped his dad build a cabin if he wasn't born yet? Come on now....
