Learn from my mistakes!! NOTHING GOOD CAN COME OF THIS!!!!!! Like people have said before, don't mix business and pleasure! You will become trash talk of the locker room just like the puck bunnies, as much as you think those guys are your friends and they probably are right now, when things go south they are always going to side with the C. Not because they don't like or respect you anymore, but because he holds the power. Trust me you don't want to be in this situation! If you really like him then hang with him during the season and date during the summer. If your on a kick *** triple A team and you play all year then go back to the top and start reading again. DON'T DO IT! You'll be a much cooler chick in the end if you were the one who put hockey and the team before him!

tough question.. and really a no win situation for you or the team..
First what level of competition, if it's a 'B' team, a rec team or a beer league, then sure, go for it..
If it's a highly competitive, win at all costs travel, triple A or high school team, you have to think how will the issue effect the whole team chemistry.. regardless of your answer.. you say no or yes..
If the captain's interest in you is not known through the locker room and you want to date him (that's how it will be perceived) you two should talk about going out after the season is over., which is tough right now since most highly competitive teams are holding tryouts and my son's team begins play in two weeks..
Dating the captain on a hockey team is almost like dating your boss.. it may sound good, but most of the time, nothing good comes of it in the long run..

it's hard enough being the only girl. if you date the captain and something happens, it would get even worse. I'd tell him to wait until after hockey season is over, then you'll talk. Go for you being the only girl on the boys team. Takes a lot of skill to do that. Congrats.(My sister is a hockey player)

Be prepared for you to become the subject of the boys' locker room. If you're the only girl on the team, they'll talk about you. If you're dating the team captain, they'll talk about you even more.
I'd say wait until the season's over and give it a go.

Ah, you should definitely say no. I made the mistake and went out with the guy and now we hate each other because of conflicts with other guys on the team flirting and him always wanting to go on hockey related dates. Just wait until the seasons over with...

dont mix business with pleasure..hockey is your business take it serious if yoy date the captain no one will ever believe that you were serious about playing they will think you were just trying to hook up..it is the big problem with women in teh military, you try to take them serious, butthen they start dating through the ranks until they find a military guy to marry it seems, and then the rest of the camp thinks shes a joke and that she was just there to get a husband, or worse to get laid by as many guys as possible..this is just the truth on how things will be percieved...if you are serious about hockey play hockey not hookup...after the season if you find you are drawn to him think about quitting hockey, because you will wind up getting him hurt if you play onthe sameteam

not sure, i mean, i AM the only girl on my team, but we're so new and all that that we heavn't even got a cap yet. however, if we had, and if he'd be really nice and hot and all that, i think i just might go out with him. the only problem is: if it doesn't work out: can we still manage to play on the same team?
i'd give it a try though!

Sleep with the whole team. That way everyone wins. You could also sell the pictures from that event to pay for any traveling the team may have to do.

well if he is the kind of a guy that puts you before his team then say no, becasue a captain has to be there for his whole team no tjust you, so wait till the season is over and then tell him you wanna date him, and if he doesnt like that then he can **** off because then he really doesnt wanna date you then...so be carefull.

Is he a good guy? I'm not a girl or gay but I know if a popular/hot good athlete asked me out. If she was a decent person I would say boo ya! You don't want to be going out with a jerk.
