Since you seem settled, why don't you go into some department forsocial services. They always need drivers when grabbing children. The pay is not high; but it is regular. That is a good way to get started.

You should work where your job is doing something you want to do and will love. But what ever you do keep God with you and he'll take care of you.I worked 6 years offshore making good money and was miserable. Now I'm going back to school to do what I always wanted. If I would have done that from the beginning I would be ahead and happy.

A restaurant is a great place to work when you're young. Make sure it is a larger, more commercial place. I had some really good times doing that.

Try a clothing or sneaker place. The pay is good depending on which place you go to and you could get a discount.
