I don't think you ever really forget those you loved. When you honestly love someone they take hold to a part of your heart. Through time, meditation, exercise, prayer, or whatever means of healthy release you use, that grip loosens a little day by day. You will come to see that maybe that person was not meant for you to keep in your life. Maybe that person was meant to guide you toward something or somewhere that will help you grow as a human being.

If it was from divorce ... I know it hurts but meditate. If you pray, pray for strength and understanding. If you don't have time and your world seems to be going to fast and turning to chaos, take a minute to yourself. Cry. Laugh. Shout. Curse at the top of your lungs. Write the meanest most nastiest hurtful letter and vent. Release all that poison that that person left you with. When you are done, throw it all away. Pack up anything that reminds you of that person and place it in a box. You can either keep it far up in the closet or trash it. Invite friends over and do what I did. We drank wine and surrounded this big bucket of water. All letters and anything written was torn and thrown in there. The words were washed away and blurred. Anything cloth, we cut up into little pieces and gave to my neighbor, she takes care of stray cats and dog. Those rags pile up and make nice make-shift beds and you don't mind if they get nasty. The stuff animals are toys for the pets. Which even now, makes me feel better knowing that some little puppy was being potty trained on his favorite shirt and jeans.

Now if you lost a loved one, know that the pain eases up with time and meditation. All those things I said to do, cry, shout, get mad, you will experience them. Just take time, honor the memories when they pass through your mind. Remember what you loved about him'her and remember to breathe through the lost you are feeling. Time does not heal the wound completely but it sure does a job on easing the pain.

Be blessed. You are going to make it through

I know how you feel sweetheart. When you love someone and they don't love you back, it really hurts. But just think, maybe for some reason or another, the person is out of your life, and it may be for the best. I know it'll take some time to bounce back, but you will be okay. Focus on yourself now and do what make YOU happy. I believe there is someone for everyone. You'll meet the right person soon enough.

It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone -- but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
Trying to forget someone you loved is like trying to remember someone you never knew
you never really stop loving someone. you just learn to try to live without them, as hard and as sad as it seems.
Life goes on and so should you, it will be hard, but give it time.

Best thing to do is stay away from them for awhile. Sooner or later you won't feel the same way. You will always remember them but the possessive and hurt feelings will be gone. You will love them like a brother or sister.
