Me personally, no. But if you're really interested in this, back during the 60s and the 70s the CIA actually funded research into this. No kidding, they really did. They called it "remote viewing" since some people alleged that they could "project themselves" psychically into distant locations where, say, sensitive meetings were taking place. Imagine how useful it would be to have someone who can "snoop" on Osama bin Laden's --or anyones--latest top secret meeting?
You might research this on google and elsewhere using the key phrase: remote viewing, or psychic viewing, or similar terms combined with "CIA studies". (In the end, the official report was that they found nothing...nothing useful anyway). Still, fascinating subject.
Good luck!

I won't go into it here, but as a very small child, I used to astral project, going out of situations that could be harmful to a young persons (or anyones, for that matter) psyche and into another dimensional culture (world of long ago, in this case to learn of things that I would need to know when I got older in this life time). As a small child, I did not know what it was called by most people, but as I got older and started reading about such things, I realized that many people have had these experiences, and from a very young age alot of the times. There are many reasons for astral projection. sometimes the psyche is trying to protect itself from something that could be harmful and sometimes it is just a means for the psyche to leave the body for a while and rejuvinate.

Yes, I have astral projected a few times. It was always when a friend needed me but I could not be there physically. There have been times when I thought it was just a dream until talking about it the next day. I was able to describe to my friend exactly what had happened to her. And she said she felt like I was there but didn't really understand it.
I've also been there to give support to a friend who's grandfather had died. He was at the funeral in Florida and I live in California. He said he felt me behind him at the service. I was able to describe it to him before he told me anything about it. I was right on everything. He did say that it helped him get through the service knowing that I was "there".
I guess my main reason for doing it is to help the ones I care about. Sometimes it is impossible to really be there.

It is said we all travel astrally during sleep. That is why
you sometimes think you see something. You got the attention of a spirit being that followed you back. Don't worry. They don't usually hang around.
Projection is mentioned in 2 Corinthians 12 I believe,
"in or out of the body".

I have done it accidentally. I was swimming nude in very warm water and floating on my back. It was dark outside and there was sheet lightening way up in the clouds. I left my body and was up with the lightening. It was awe inspiring and humbling. I felt 'one with the Universe'. I have never done it deliberately YET. I might in the future. I would do it if I thought I would benefit from it spiritually. Not for fun.

I've never done it, but a friend said he used to do it regularly. I'd like to, but I don't know how to, and I'm not sure I could if I did know how. I do know it can be dangerous.
