If you are not married you are not ready. Why would you want to have sex with a man that doesn't want to be with you always? Why do you want to let someone use your body just for pleasure?
Don't say there's a guy you really love or that loves you. When a man loves a woman, he is willing to give all of himself to her. Not just his body.
Also, don't believe that being on birth control or using condoms makes you responsible and ready. No, that just makes you really naive. Wake up and look at all the teen moms around you, and all the STD's and all of the broken hearts and regrets.
Do you never browse Yahoo Answers and read the questions from all those women out there just like you who thought THEY were ready??

I wanted to cry! Im not discouraging you, although I think you might be too young to deal with this. I had sex for the first time when I was sixteen, and it made my self esteem rise a great deal, but after that relationship is over and you move on to other people, its hard to determine whether you are wanted because youve been known to have sex, or if the person really likes you. Be careful with yourself, and use protection...and make sure, if you do use a condom, that it is lubricated and it wont hurt as much, but I think it depends on you and the person your having the sex with, but for me it did hurt. Be safe and have fun!

It does hurt. It is something special that you should share with someone you care about and who really cares about you. I think in teenage sex the guys get all the pleasure and the girls end up with the short end of the stick... The guys dont even care if it hurts or if it feels good. They are selfish and you should wait until you find a mature man.

The part that really hurts is the part where you get pregnant and your bf leaves, your parents are disappointed, and your teen life is over. Keep your pants on and wait until you are ready to support a child.

Yes, it hurts a lot. Only you will know when the right time is. Be sure to use protection if you decide to do it.

yes!!..omg...very painful the first time. make sure the guy is worth it. preferably wait till your eighteen or when you're married. teenage boys don't know what they are doing and aren't very considerate.
