Well, will they? I haven't bought any yet so don't flame me for being harsh and cruel to animals because it hasn't been done yet.

I would recommend keeping only one male dwarf gourami. They are raised the same way as bettas. Regardless of what anyone says, 10-gallons is appropriate.

I had a ten gallon with tetras, a gourami, and an angel fish. The gourami killed the angel fish. AND, it always had a LONG stool hanging out its butt.

I couldn't bring myself to flushing it, but a friend offered to take it. He had a 26 long, with a couple of large angels and a discus. Those 3 fish terrorized the gourami. It was always hiding in the corner of the tank. A fitting end, I thought.

How many gouramis are we talking here? 10gal is a bit small, really. Rule of thumb is one inch of fish(that's once their grown) per gallon of water. So depending on how many tetras and what type, it could get kind of tight in there. Why don't you just go with a 20gal. They are more fun and easier to take care of.
Good luck.
Love the dwarf gouramis.

Well, in my opinion, no, a 10 gallon is too small for that type of arrangement.
