I have some gold jewellery that I'd like to sell, but don't want to be ripped off. Any suggestions please?
Have already checked out ebay.
The items I have are heavy 9 carat gold women's chains. (not bling)!

Many thanks in advance!

The first thing to do is know what the gold is worth currently it is worth £4.09 per gram however unless a shop believes they can turn it round quickly ( very unlikely with todays gold price) they will not give you that. We would offer £3.48 /gm today but this varies all the time, we would remelt it and make something new.

Hope it helps

Take the jewelry to a few jewelers to see who will give you the best bet. Maybe even do some research online to see how much you could get for it. That way you atleast have some knowledge of what you have.

Ebay is the best place or go to a second hand jewellery store to sell it there.

Cash Converters or try doing a bootsale. If they are good quality try jewellers, and you can try classified adverts. E-Bay is ok, but most people want to come and look at it first!
