Fiery passionate intimacy
Whispers in our ears
Soft caresses touch our thoughts
Fool our bodies into reaction

Distance is our wise enemy
Patience is our only hope
Feelings that I shouldn't have
And no one would sympathize

I'm so isolated in my selfish world
The cruel part I must play
To feel alive, to feel whole...
To love you

Writing this was like therapy for me...can you guess what it's about?

It's a very good example of prose poetry and you've obviously put a lot of thought into it. Is it about someone you love, but are not supposed to?
