I don't know what the laws are in your state, but I worked at a McDonald's at age 16 - most places can hire 16 year olds but most of them are reluctant since on your first job you could be irresponsible, not show up or make mistakes. Just go to the store and ask for an application. Then submit it with your resume. The application will give you instructions about how to apply if you're a minor. Usually, it's like having a parent's consent or something like that.

16 is a usually the starting age for a lot of places, most of those would probably hire you if you are qualified. You'll need a work permit though, and cannot work more than 18 hours in a week!

I would think that any of the places you mentioned should have some workers 16 years of age. Also, check with the state in which you reside. I live in Indiana and there are lots of young people who work in our local grocery stores.

18 for full time, and I think 16 for part time. There are a lot of things underage employees can't do on the job. Check the state laws regarding this..

Pass out fliers for small businesses in neighborhoods. It will pay $10.00 per hour. All you have to do is call businesses until you get one on the hook.
I use them all the time. By the way, you have to do a good job.
