I was wondering if anyone knew what beach glass is or how to find it. Thanks.

There is a place in Ft. Bragg California called "glass beach". It is a spot on the beach that was used for many years as a dump, and years later you can go there and collect thousands of pieces of glass, porcelin, and other things that were not totally taken away by the water.

I guess there is one in Bencia, California, too.

I would look for places that were historical dumping places for glass by the water. Maybe some older people that you know could tell you if there is a place like that close to where you live.

It's basically bottles that have been thrown in the ocean or large lake and broken. After a time, the surf and sand grind it down to a colored clear-ish pebble looking thing. You just have to walk a beach and pick it up.

It's pieces of glass that have been worn smooth by the sea and sand. It often looks frosted, not clear. You can probably buy it at a craft store, or look online.
