The 'print screen key is like [ctrl p]...it copies the screen to the clipboard, and then you print it.
Here's the thinking: if you highlight a word and copy it, then you can paste it somewhere else, right?
Same thing with print screen. You're copying the screen. Now you have to paste it. Probably the best place to paste it to is Paint (START, PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, PAINT) or another graphics program like PrintMaster or Print Shop.
From there you can print it.

If you hold down the Alt key while pressing the PrtScrn key, it is like using Copy/Paste, but it copies an image of whatever program is running.
You can then go into any program, but especially Paint, and use the Paste button to put that image into Paint.
From there, you can save the image as a file, or you can print the image, etc.
If you use the Ctrl key while pressing the PrtScrn key, the entire monitor screen will be copied as an image, so make sure you hold down the Alt key, not the Ctrl key - when pressing the PrtScrn key.

although on some dvd's doing the print screen, then pasting the captured image into a program such as mspaint (windows basic program)
most dvd's are encrypted, so this is not possible, you will just capture everything else on your screen but the dvd image that you tried to get will just be a blank/black screen.
to do what your after, you will need to run the dvd through some sort of video editing suite while at the same time decoding the information on the dvd (bypassing the security)
too much to explain though in this one section, afraid you will have to ask for each section again, and if i see it i will answer, or maybe others will

You need to pause the movie, press printscreen, then paste that image into some paint program. Save the picture. Right click on your desktop and go to properties. Then browse and find your picture. Voila done.

nothing APPEARS to happen, "print screen" is like pressing copy. You have to paste it somewhere. Try going into your paint program.

hi. the tactic is particularly easy. only play your DVD in complete exhibit screen mode, and then pause it on the precise second you want that photo as your own computer historic past. next, press Print exhibit screen on your keyboard (it stocks the same button as Insert). next, visit color and Edit > Paste. keep the paint record right into a listing and set it as your own computer historic past. easy!
