They are getting in the house, we have sprayed, we have "bombed" not success!

Did you try boric acid around the foundation?

And...I use diatomaceous earth (what I put in my pool filter) for all bugs--it tears up their carapace and they die.

I agree with Rhino_man 420. You can also buy this in a slow release granular. It might work better when trying to kill the fleas. If not just remember to retreat the area affected because their eggs will hatch out and cause the reinfestation to begin.

If you have a farm supply facility close by you can buy tobacco dust which you can spread in your lawn and gardens. The tobacco dust will drive all the insects out of your lawn. As an alternative you can get cedar shavings from your local pet store and spread them into your grass. most insects hate the scent of the cedar oil, which is why it is used for bedding for all types of critters from hamsters to horses.

Use a big bag of lime. It works fast and its cheap.You can buy from home depot for round 3 bucks for a 50 lb bag.

In Parris Island, we used Avon's Skin So Soft cut with a third part rubbing alcohol. That will keep my beloved pets off your body. However,
I don't know about eradicating them.

call the orkin man, he'll spray your yard, but it's costly sometimes, or get a big jug of home defense bug spray, and good luck, we had them too, but now they're all gone...

Use the toilet like everybody else - if you keep doing it at the back of your house - no wonder it attracts flies - dirty people !
