Big difference, changing it from 40, down to 1. I guess this dosent help Hesbollah's propaganda or any of you who think Israel is the devil.

Anyone else know some good articles? or Incidents like this?

He used the numbers he was given at the time. The initial numbers are usually a best guess because all of the survivors have not yet been discovered. He made this statement immediately after the attacks and didn't have complete intelligence. Yes, the prime minister probably did want to use it as a sensationalist number to garner support. But I would be surprised if he just made up the number.

The point is he changed it - which suggests that he cares about getting his facts right. The Lebanese prime minister is not a member of Hezbollah, if he was then wouldn't he have got the Lebanese army to attack Israel, instead of do nothing?

Besides - just because they have their numbers wrong on this occasion doesn't mean they're always wrong, and it is very VERY hard to believe that few people have been killed, seeing the destruction that has been caused in Lebanon, and if that is so the war should be stopped.

I've noticed a lot of lies coming from Hezbollah since the beginning of the war between them and Israel. The numbers of the innocent people of Lebanon and Hezbollah solders is mainly false. I think that Hezbollah solders are cowards, for hiding beyond old ladies and children. How dare you shoot missiles and bombs next to them; to use them as propaganda tactics to future your cause. How can God be proud of you or on your side?

It was the PM of Lebanon who announced that 40 had been killed and it was the PM of Lebanon who shortly thereafter issued a correction. Hiszbollah made no statements regarding this incident.

Hezbollah is one big lie,you cant believe anything they say!! they put out fake videos of people getting hurt, and crying, but you can tell that it is all staged!!! they want people to feel bad for them,so they say 40 people died, when its not even true!! and people really believe them, even though you can tell that some of the things they say dont make any sense...but that's life, people believe what they wanna believe!!!

How about 50k Iraqui civilians dead. That's a conservative estimate. So we can continue to think that the US Government is the devil!
