Ms Mandrell is very much alive and well!!!! She is retired now, but has been actively involved in a music project of hit songs of hers performed by various artists i.e. Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire. This CD will be released around mid-Oct this year. There is even talk of a TV special.

I remember her television show with her sisters! She decided to retire back in back in 1997. I remember seeing her final concert on television.
