I don't think a 12 year old SHOULD be taking birth control unless it is a mild form used to control acne' Some doctors prescribe a mild birth control for girls with severe acne'

Yes, they should be on birth control if they're sexually active (obviously!). I would question, 'tho, why somebody that young is in a hurry to have sex? Don't be pressured by a guy or because you think that "all my friends are dong it." Think for yourself. Don't be a sheep. Be a leader. Be the strong one who respects herself enough to say no!

Sex can be a powerfully strong urge, but it has consequences other than pregnancy or STD's. It can cause jealousy or uncertainty in a relationship.

At 12, kids should be involved in activities more "age appropriate." I know that sounds so old school! Why the rush to engage in adult behavior? There is still so much time for all that. Don't complicate your life by going there at this age.

What will you have to look forward to when you're older if you try adult behavior now????

Think about it. Sorry for the lecture.

Yes,you can be on birth control at 12.Just because you are on birth control does NOT mean you are having sexual intercourse.Often times younger teens use it to make their periods more predictable because when you are younger and just started your period they can be very unpredictable and irregular.Birth control serves many purposes not just preventing pregnancy.Although, your doctor may need to consult a parent because you are that much underage.

Birth control really messes with your body. I wouldn't take it unless you absolutely have to. I personally think that 12 is way too young and you should be thinking about other stuff instead of boys and birth control.

ok, this is stated as beginning administration for a reason. some say it impacts your era, yet you're taking it to grant your self with protection against being pregnant. Why would you're taking it for melancholy? If she is twelve years old and having suicidal ideas, you would be able to desire to have her talk along with her well being care professional and get a therapist. At twelve i became into already in Circles of look after suicidal ideas and strikes. beginning administration does not help, i comprehend that for a reality. melancholy pills and a therapist... that's all I would desire to declare. I choose your pal the perfect of success.

You can get on it, but in some if not most states your mom or dad has to be informed of it. You should probably talk to your doctor or gyn, because there are risks.
