The one that has come top in a recent survey is BT. I don't think it is the cheapest though. For comparisons try checking Uswitch or simplyswitch as they normally let you see how much each one costs per month and what the start up fees are.

If you are in London, try Be wireless, easily the cheapest for the service (about £22 a month I think?) and the absolute fastest there is at the moment. If you are looking for absolutel cheapest, try Now: you don't need a phoneline, they give you a wireless modem: it's slightly slower though (256kb-1mb/s) but v cheap- £10-£18. I'm on it now, it's slighly dodgy tho, it seems to have problems connecting...
Telewest is a good deal too. And AOL is offering wireless for only 14.99, but I've yet to look into it- you know theirs will be good quality though!
I will say though, don't go with NTL, they'll screw you out of all your money and never answer your calls or letters- they have given me the worst customer service I've ever had in my life!

Hope that helps!

maximum of innovations obtainable isnt there. learn and verify out the significant factors. a million) How long is the settlement? If its a particular line value you will discover that they get far greater a refund over something of the settlement ie if its £5 prer month for 3 months is it £20 for the subsequent 2 years? which you have commited to pay. 2) an excellent style of companies grant unfastened night and weekend calls yet issue to a connection charge. this suggests you're able to desire to be paying a minimum of as much as 10p for each call you're making even to a unfastened telephone selection. 3) Rounding as much as nearest minute. some companies will around as much as nearest minute making the fast " you practically residing house" call to a cellular costly, ie 10p connection + 20p consistent with minute to cellular= 30p for a 15 2d call. think of ways you utilize the telephone and paintings out if its greater effective to have extreme connection expenses yet low line apartment or any other way around.

Im on Wannadoo/Orange,its £14.99/month,unlimited download , 2.2Mbps here, was 8 at the old place but BT lines are old in salford
Service was a bit frustrating getting them to move the connection from eccles to my new house, took nearly 2 months, but they did give me 6 months free, and pay all my phone call charges to them
Had to threaten to move my account before anything got done
but that hurried them up dramatically
