Today was someone chatting on their cellphone in front of me and they started jumping in the lane to their right and realized that someone was there, so they jump all the way across their original lane to the left one and almost hit someone there.
We all do dumb things at times. I am just wondering what you have seen.

A fellow in a new BMW convertible making a left turn with cell phone in the right hand, shifting the gears with his left hand and steering with his knees. Talented, or what?

Some girl was giving herself a pedicure (hard to miss with her toes on the left side on the dash proped againt the windshield I guess above the vents, while on the phone, and every now and then taking a sip of coffee, Oh and her visor was down too (I guess she was finished with the make up part), her briefcase opened on the passenger's seat and all this during rush hour.
That was only one of the things that I've seen. I can write a book about dumb freeway things people do, at least keep me entertained.

Anyone who serves to avoid something. Swerving is the leading cause of traffic accidents and among the accidents that causes the most fatalities. Over correcting the second but sometimes they are considered swerving as well. DUI isn't on the list due to the nature of the statistic.
That said, I saw a dude driving with his foot while playing a harmonica with both hands.

I had a car STOP suddenly on the freeway to let someone on the on ramp in - and traffic was flowing at 65 mph. He was lucky no one hit him, because about 4 cars including mine swerved to miss him. The 2nd dumbest thing is people who aren't paying attention and they suddenly swerve across 2-4 lanes of traffic so they don't miss their exit. It's not that hard to go to the next exit and then backtrack rather than almost hitting everyone to get off the freeway. Duh!

Saw a car lose a mattress that was tied to the roof in rush hour traffic in Chicago...then get off and try to go back and get it!! Nuts.
Oh, I read the other answers, and if I saw a lady putting on pantyhose, I think I might swerve..I'd definitely try to get her #! That's hot!

It's hard to say "one" thing. But something I think about allot is in heavy fast moving traffic I saw a female reading a book a few years back.
I see what you described everyday, and everywhere I go.

Well, this was years ago, but I once saw some kids stop their car (stoplight was red) and perform a chinese fire drill. No offense intended.
