What bugs me(no pun intended) is that they're not flying around. Last week it was just one. Over the course of the week it's up to 4 wasps. (Small three floor complex). It's odd cuz I've never seen this before. I don't like them but I am intrigued and get closer just to figure out why. Could it be the hot weather that's bringing them in or what?

Well like all living things, wasps and other insects strive to maintain an optimal temperature. In the summer months they will try to beat the heat so to speak by entering homes, this allows them to escape the humidity and possibly enjoy an air-conditioned building. Once inside however it may be too cold for them to fly right away, this can be attributed to the flight muscles of most insects which require some warming up before take off.

I've had this problem. What is happening is that early in the spring, some wasps built a nest somewhere in your house or the building in which you live. NOw that the wasps are coming out, they are getting INTO the house, rather than OUT. You will continue to have this problem until yu find that little nest. I had to spray constantly for several months until I was sure they were gone.
