I know this website isnt a subsitute for proper medical advise, but i just thought i should ask....just before i go to the doctors, and worry my boyfriend...
for the past week i have just generally been feeling off, I have had a major decrease in appitite, and just felt completely put off by the prospect of food. I have also been feeling sick on and off throughout the day. The only other sympthoms i have had and still have is pretty sore breasts. The soreness has ranged from pretty sore to only pretty minor. I am due for a period within the next 7 days (I am on the pill hence why i know this)...
could this just be a side effect of the pill, or maybe a bout of flu or something else?.

Could you be pregnant? Even on the pill that could happen. Depends on the side effects of the pill and how long you ahve taken them as well as sometimes the body has to adjust.
Thyroid can also cause some of these symptoms. Hope that helps. If you dont get your period I woud suggest going in for a check and to also see if you are pregnant. Good luck! Hope you feel better soon==

I would like to suggest that there is little chance of anyone advising you appropriately on this site. You are doing the right thing, seeing your doctor. When you do make sure you take the time to go through all the symptoms. Try not to worry too much as that can become part of the problem. Good luck; most things are not too serious.

it sounds to me one of two things, its either you are pregnant the sickness throughout the day is telling me this is very possible, or it could just be side effects to the pill as i get them sometimes, but i would do a pregnancy test just to make sure.

if missed or taken the pill at a different tI'me it could be that or you are pregnant I'm sure you should wait till your period is late and see how you feel as a test wont show up till your late good luck ever need to chat im here

could be side effect from the pill, or have you missed a pill or had a cold sometimes that might not make it work as well, is there any chance you could be pregnant

I get this the week before my periods. Always tired, feeling sick, cold all over (like flu). Breasts feel like bricks! My doc said it is due to "fluctuations" in my hormones.

Could just be the pill your on, have a word with your doctor about it and see if he could change it for another one.

sounds a bit like symptoms of pregnancy to me. but it could also be because you are due to have your period soon. sometimes how you feel pre period differs from month to month. but i suggest you go to the doctors ASAP
