Discover, a few kilometers away from the village, the dam on the river la Verne and its water reservoir of 8 000 000 cubic meters supplying the Maures and Saint-Tropez areas with drinking water all year round.
The dam was created in 1991 thanks to a joint effort by nine towns and is now managed by the "Syndicat Intercommunal de Distribution d'Eau de la Corniche des Maures".
The reservoir attracts a number of bird species, including herons and cormorants, along with migrating birds in Autumn. Turtles bathe in the waterfalls in Spring.

On the North of La Mole, the ruins of the first village and its church are located on the so-called "Rocher de Sainte-Magdeleine", Sainte Magdeleine rock.
Set at the foot of a brown basalt formation, the Chapel looks rather like a castle.
It was used as parish church till 1872, despite its difficult access and the abandonment of the old village.

Not to be missed : on the 22nd of July, the mass celebrated in the Chapel for Ste-Magdeleine, patronness of La Mole.
