Yes, and we are not alone: The madness has to end. I pray my country comes to its senses. Clips below:

The Brussells Tribunal condemns the State of Israel for its barbaric killing of 56 Lebanese civilians, including many children, in Qana. 750 Lebanese have been killed since Israel began its military campaign three weeks ago.

Israel’s offensive on the sovereign state of Lebanon is a clear act of aggression under international law and is a supreme crime against peace. The indiscriminate mass killing of civilians also constitutes collective punishment, another imputable crime under international law.

The United States stands accused alongside Israel. It has rushed massive arms deliveries to Israel. Again, it has proven its partiality in the UN Security Council, vetoing all moves towards an immediate ceasefire.

The United States and Israel are acting as one. The illegal pre-emptive war on Iraq was prelude and made possible Israel’s campaign of aggression on Lebanon. No solution to this crisis can be forthcoming unless the United States is isolated and equally condemned by the international community.

Force cannot justify what law denies. Israel’s continued war crimes, which are a staple of its foreign policy and occupation of Palestine, constitute the gravest threat to international peace in decades.

The state of New Hampshire has as its motto on the license plate Patrick Henry's quote: "Live Free or Die".

To have to come under the control(s) of any tyrant, whether it be Islamic Fundamentalist, Adolph Hitler, Fidel Castro, Sadam Hussain, Mousilini, Hiro Hito, or any other despot, would not be providing for a better future for the next generation of American children.

It is true that in some countries future generations might be better off than todays people even if under a tyrannical dictitorial regime. Not so in here in America or most (if not all) of the rest of the Western World. Back to Patrick Henry, "Live Free, or Die".

No, it's certainly not good for future generations. War generations are frustrated generations. However, I think that we need to accept the fact that wars can't be avoided, they have always existed and will always exist, and on some level, perceived from a philosophical perspective, they are necessary. So, as I've already implied, I don't think will learn to avoid war, and this current war in Lebanon is just one of many that were and will be fought. All we can do is hope for the best.

I think the continual bombardment of Lebanon and genocide of innocent children is a crime against humanity and is creating a future generation who will become more hostile and untrusting.

Look into the eyes of a four year old refugee child on the road to nowhere, and wonder what he will be when he grows up.

Meanwhile the Republican war lord's stocks and shares in Arms trade are soaring.

This is more a philosophical question really. Of course, everyone is human. However, if a set of humans want you and yours dead, do you passively take it, do you defend yourself, or do you just kill the exact same number that they've killed? Where does that lead? If Israel had only killed eight members of Hezbulloh would they have stopped? Dreaming of Utopia, doesn't make it here. Being nice to someone doesn't mean they're not going to slit your throat when you fall asleep. That's the real world.

Hizbollah intentionally targets civilians, Hizbollah intentionally attacked and killed/catpured young israeli soldiers, Hizbollah is firing weapons from densely populated civilian areas thereby utilizing their own citizens as human shields; hizbollah has spent the last 6 years obtaining every weapon it can from Syria and Iran; along with training of hudnreds in order to generate this conflict with Israel. Hizbollah won't be satisfied until Israel is totally destroyed. Whereas, Israel on the other hand and most other democratic countries DO NOT intentionally target women and children. Everyone recogfnizes that during conflict innocents are hurt; HOWEVER, the US, NATO, Israel and other democratic countries GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO TRY AND AVOID HURTING INNOCENTS. Where is the anguish against the arabs, hizbollah and palestinians whom INTENTIONALLY TARGET INNOCENTS. Hang tough, Israel, your in the right here.
