Its interesting that some people took your question to mean welfare recipients even though you didn't specify. I've worked with homeless people and people on welfare, and let me tell you folks the don't have as much money as you think. The 'welfare queens' who drive luxury cars and make more money than working stiffs was a myth employed by Reagan era Republicans to bring out the racist southern vote (Search the 'Southern Strategy' to learn how racism was used to win the south away from Democrats).

As for wealthy aristocrats, whom I assume the question was actually about since they don't work *and* have money, well that is what the estate tax is for. For each generation of these pimples on the nose of society we take a little chunk of their family fortune and use it to help those who are the actual backbone of our country. Look at it like this. Would you take one of Paris Hiltons 7 yachts away so that a few hundred children of blue collar families could have up-to-date textbooks and qualified teachers? I know I would.

I dont work and have money - but I worked hard for many many years to get to where I am. Try that first. School, hard work, living beneath what you make, no more kids than you can afford. Save save save - dont but new cars every few years, live in a smaller house, if you are not educated, get it now. Dont complain about others. The ability to be able to get there is what makes this country great.
