I think Bush is a moron for MANY reasons, that being just one of them.
He (and his joke of an administration) has...
...pissed away a record surplus and racked up a record deficit instead!
...invaded a country that had NO WMDs, NO clear ties to al-Qaida, and NO part in the 9/11 attacks, and THEN turned that country into an absolute security nightmare with no clear exit strategy!
....told everyone he want more math & science teachers for our schools...then cut the education budget by roughly $3 million! Yeah, that's putting our money where our mouth is!
...continued to a$$-rape Mother Nature like it's going outta style!
....infringed on civil liberties and wiped his a$$ with the US Constitution. Hey, it's just a piece of paper...
...promised to rebuild Afghanistan...then hasn't! Meanwhile, Osama sits somewhere and drinks a latte while laughing at us!
...managed to alienate almost all our friends and allies!
...sold out a CIA agent thereby threatening our national security...and they did it all for political gain! (Ok, this one was mostly likely creepy Uncle Dick and Turdblossom Rove...but they are all part of the same BushCo criminal cartel!)
BushCo consists of nothing but corrupt, greedy, inept, evil, stupid morons.

No. At the time of his veto, unborn fetuses were the only source of useable stem cells. His decision was based on moral issues in the same manner that abortion is a moral issue. Funding was originally proposed because it was believed that placentas and umbilical cords could be used as a source of research stem cells. Later (and prior to Bush's decision), it was discovered that those cells were NOT a good source, and the fetus was the only legitimate source of cells.
Since that time, other appropriate sources of stem cells have been identified. New initiatives need to be reintroduced to force a decision.
I do hope stem cell research will be fully funded. It is by far the most promising method of correcting many conditions.

I think Bush is a moron period; with or without this stem cell bill.
Maybe not a moron as far intelligence goes (I have heard the theory that he is just acting this way, deserves an Academy Award for it), but definately has little wisdom or common sense. However, I think that anyone who is not willing to at least listen to the other side and give them a fair shot is a moron.

I think stem cell research should be allowed. There are so many different ways of using stem cells (just from the research that had been done), research and development of stem cell usage could help a lot of people. Bush is a moron... not just for this decision.

Yes, Bush is an idiot for doing that. He ignored pleas from both sides to consider scientific experts. He ignored majority opinion based on some contrived moral viewpoint of his. Bush probably doesn't even know what the hell a stem cell really is.

no, you can use adult stem cells and get the same results. You are a moron for not researching this subject. Yahoo answers does't count as research.

I think it's a bad policy decision, but I think to him it's more a matter of faith than anything else.
