Do you mean "how to form a quadratic equation with roots (2,5)"? 'Coz if you already have the roots, it means your eqn is solved.
The eqn(lets take the variable as x) will be of the form,
(x-root 1)(x- root2)=0. So the answer would be (x-2)(x-5) =0
When you multiply the terms you get,
x^2 - 7x +10 = 0
Another rule that can be quite as handy is :
A quadratic eqn can be expressed as
x^2 - (sum of he roots)x + (product of the roots) = 0
So if your roots were a and b, your eqn would be,
x^2 -(a+b)x + ab = 0
