I asked him if he thought I was frumpy and he said yes, so I told him he would be sorry he said that. I am wearing short jeans and a little top, admitted my hair is in a bun, but I look good. He's spending too much at work with other women. I hate shopping for clothes and food. A shop for saucepans, curtains, cushions, sheets, give me the shop and I'll spend weeks in it, otherwise forget shops. I intend to go shopping now for clothes and a new look. Where should I go, (I am base in Essex at the moment) I want a new hair style and new clothes style everything, I am willing to spend up to £5,000. I'm going to teach him that when he thinks something tell me without doing it in a nasty way. He knows he has something coming to him now because I've told him he'll regret his words, and I'm gonna teach him a lesson

I am between a size 8-10. I usually look good, I don't need make-up. He works with younger women and obviously they wear make-up and dress for work. I wonder if he is getting used to that and wants me to dress up and show myself as I can be?

Hes hurt your feelings,your angry and hurt by what he said to you and i dont blame you, my man is the same,but the possitive side is it has made you do something,but dont do it to prove to him do it to prove it to yourself.you will feel so much better and confident in yourself,get fit ,look good for you and you alone because you are worth it xxxx

Don't have such a bad attitude about it. In stead of teaching him a lesson why don't you go buy new clothes to knock his socks off?
You asked him if you looked frumpy. You must have thought you looked a little frumpy yourself or you wouldn't have asked the question. Part of your responsibility as a wife is to look feminine and pretty. That isn't asking too much.
