I removed rust on my car but created a big hole (about 5 cms).
How can I fill it to paint my car. Is it possible to fill that.
Thanks a lot for any advice.
regards

Welding a metal piece. Then, smooth it over, prepair it and paint it.

Two methods I have used in the past:
1. Indent the edges slightly, then apply a couple of layers of fiberglass over the hole. Allow to cure and then build up remaining area with body putty.
2. Cut a piece of galvanized sheet metal to overlap the hole you want to fill. Fit it in place, drill a small hole and pop rivet the sheet metal to the car. Use the ball side of a ball peen hammer, place it against the pop rivet, and strike with another hammer to set the rivet slightly below the normal surface level. Finish filling area with body putty.
I don't have access to a welder, but you can also weld the metal in place over the hole.

in basic terms a sprint tip. in case you have any huge holes, and don't have a MIG welder, you could stick patches on utilising Tiger seal or Sicaflex. it incredibly is the type of adhesive they use to restoration windscreens in with. concerning sanding filler you do no longer use moist & dry. you utilize production paper - aluminium oxide abrasive paper- and it incredibly is used dry. moist & dry is used on the primer and stopper degree ( Stopper is a good cellulose filler ) used after primer to fill small imperfections that teach in primer coat.
