Why would I get a message telling me that "some of the songs in the iTunes music library were not copied to the iPod because they cannot be played on this iPod? I was trying to load one of my cds to iTunes to get it on my iPod. I did one earlier and it worked. (I am new to iPods and don't know a lot yet.)

We had the same problem. Go to your "start" button on the bottom left hand side of your computer. Go to "my computer" then "my documents" then to "my music" The song should be there. Click on the song and play it (the whole song). It then will download to your ipod. Make sure your ipod is plugged into the computer. Good luck!

When you put a CD onto iTunes, you have to convert the CD to an AAC selection. If you put in a CD, open it in iTunes, and then look at the top right corner, it will say 'Import CD'. Click that. It will convert the CD so the songs can be added to your iPod. Hope that helps!

delete the files that would not copy to ipod, re-import the files into the itunes library, then drag and drop like usual.
