I guessed that Harry could possibly die years ago after the Order Of Phoenix when the book said either Harry or Voldermort would die. One would have to kill the other. I don't think that could happen though because Rowling could lose a lot of fans and authors such as Stephen King have written to her begging her to not have Harry die along with the public also begging her. I believe that she should have enough people begging her to listen to what they want, so she can keep many, many people impressed. That way, if she wanted to write more books in the future besides the Harry Potter books, the majority of the public would be willing to read her books. Hope that this helps!

That's the popular rumor going around, that Rowling will kill off Harry in the last book. Oh well, the books are good, they get children reading & discussing literature!

If she killed Harry it is true that the entire series may come to a sudden end, but I don't think even the author would kill off her main character. You would probably have more luck finding a couple sites that specialize in Harry Potter... And not asking people here about witches and wizards... A lot of people think it's satanic still! >3<

Nooooooooooo! She better not! OR I will send her hate-mail for the rest of her life! :oP
Well, since those are the popular rumors going on, maybe she won't... I don't think authors like going with what the general public "believes". So maybe Harry Potter will be okay.
I'm not sure about Hermione Granger though. She seems like someone that could get killed off easily. BUT I hope not, because she kicks booty!
I guess we will ALL have to wait & see!

Well, J.K. Rowling better plan on going into witness protection if he does, or else face a howling mob of shreiking, outraged children who will pelt her to death with their Dungeons and Dragons figurines and Dr. Pepper cans.
I'm guessing not. I think Ron dies and Harry ends up banging Hermione.

I think that Harry won't die. I think he or somebody will kill Voldemort and when Voldemort dies, (and since part of Harry is from Voldemort, ie the scar, parseltongue) Harry's scar will disappear because that part of him died and he won't be able to speak Parseltongue anymore. Maybe that won't happen, but hey, it's a thought. :-)

JK Rowling said she might do that because she doesn't want anyone adding anymore books after she's finished her series.
